How will I receive my deposit refund?
After we finish the inspection and processing, we’ll issue your rental deposit refund by emailing you an e-check along with an itemized statement of any charges (if applicable).
How long after checkout will I receive my deposit refund?
Inspection and final utility bills can take a little time, but we’ll do everything we can to speed things up. Don’t worry, you’ll have the deposit refund within 21 days after check-out.
What could be deducted from my deposit?
Don’t worry — we return your full deposit when you’ve treated the home with care. Deductions only apply for damages beyond normal use, and you’ll receive an itemized statement detailing how the deposit was applied.
Example for situations beyond normal use:
Major stains, strong odors, broken fixtures requiring extra cleaning or repair, etc.
Do I need to pay for damage if I’m on the Diamond Plan?
While the Diamond Plan saves you from putting down a big deposit upfront, you’re still responsible for major damage, extra cleaning, or lease violations. But really, as long as you treat your Month2Month home with a little care, you’ll head out with no surprise charges — just happy memories.
